- We are delighted to announce the refurbishment of Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco. We would like to assure you that our architects promise discreet activity and that our service will remain unrivalled.
- The refurbishment will include a redesign of our lobby, restaurant, meeting rooms and guestrooms. All will be completed by the end of May 2012.
- How we will manage this renovation :
- Lobby and Arrival - On January 14, 2012 we will open our temporary lobby while the main lobby undergoes its transformation into one of the most luxurious spaces in downtown San Francisco.
- Rooms and Suites -Guestrooms will remain our peaceful oasis in the sky. As work begins on a floor, the floors immediately above and below will be sealed off, containing sound and any possible disruption. Our new rooms will be available for reservation from April 2012, with all redesigns completed by the end of May.
- Event Facilities - The addition of two meeting rooms will enhance our event space to a total of 5,100 square feet. The versatile function space will include a new custom-designed Boardroom and a second meeting room with 1,200 square feet, both of which will be located on the second floor.
- Restaurant and Bar - In early April 2012, we will unveil our exciting new lobby level restaurant and bar.
